Do I need a box spring with my Serta mattress?

While a box spring is not required, it is the most common type of foundation used with our mattresses. It will provide the support and breathability that the mattress needs to keep you comfy. It also keeps your mattress off the floor and helps with the overall longevity of your mattress. 

If you choose not to use a box spring, a platform or slatted frame with no more than 2" between the slats and a center support leg that extends to the floor can be used in its place.
